Dumblog's function

The function of Dumblog will be to post, track, and invent new dumb cyber words, or cyords. Perhaps it is appropriate to begin at the beginning, but as none of us know where or when (or if) that may be, we will begin with "Blog," a conjunction of 'web' and 'log.'

As you may have noticed Orwell point out, this is a function of newspeak: slowly dumbing down the language and therefore the users of the language. Obviously, 'blog' is a dumb word, or "dord," and should be avoided in the common parlance lest we all dumb down, or "duwn." As this may not always be possible because using dords creates the illusion of saving time, or "saiming," the most practical alternative, or "pracnative," is to flood the common vernacular, or "commacular," with dords.

To avoid dumbing down, or "duwning," we are all given two choices, or "twices:" 1) Don't use dords. Just refrain, refrain, refrain. If someone says, "Did you see so-and-so's blog?" A rejoinder along the lines of "No, so-and-so's WEB LOG (be sure to add emphasis here by increasing the volume of your voice and possibly raising your eyebrows) doesn't interest me." Or, "Yes, wasn't that an interesting WEB LOG?" would suffice. 2) Make the fundamental dumbness of dords obvious by making them out of everything you can possibly think of. This second way has the advantage of increasing your natural creativity, or "nativity."

Don't stay tuned, but pop back at random intervals ("ranvals") to see what other dords are analysed and/or created. Feel free to add your own. Neup (that's the dord for 'next' and 'up'): how to dord 'supercalifragilisticexpealidocious.'
